How much does online data backup cost?

DepositIT will backup documents, emails, databases, spreadsheets, digital images and most other files created by your applications.

DepositIT compresses all files prior to transfer, and the packages are based on compressed storage. This means that 2,000mb of compressed data stored on the servers may equal as much as 4,000mb on your computer (our 4gb package).

Compression will vary, depending on the type of files backed up.

Which package is right for me?

DepositIT's standard business package provides the equivalent storage capacity of approximately 6 CD Rom's which equates to over half a million A4 pages of text.

The DepositIT software can easily be installed onto individual computers and laptops or at no extra cost, onto networked systems and servers.

We recommend that businesses subscribe to the standard package, and if you need extra storage capacity, the system will automatically upgrade your account.

Alternatively, for those requiring less storage, subscribe to the Light User package which provides the equivalent of 350 floppy disks or 62,000 A4 text pages.

Please note: DepositIT provides a global service. All prices are subject to UK VAT at 17.5%. The US$ and Euro prices displayed will be adjusted to today's exchange rate (this occurs at the payment gateway). Once you have selected your package, proceed to our secure payment gateway where the final amount will be displayed. You may then pay in UK Sterling, US Dollars or Euros. Important: We recommend that you pay in £GBP and allow your credit card provider to exchange the amount into your own currency. This will offer you the best exchange rate.

What if I need more space?

After initial registration to either the light user or standard business package, if you need more storage space, the software will automatically increase this by upgrading your account. This provides a seamless service which ensures there is no possibility of an incomplete backup.

Please note: Your credit or debit card will be automatically debited for the amount due when upgraded.
